John Fetterman went on Fox News, and you won’t believe what he said

John Fetterman is stepping up his role in the 2024 Presidential campaign.

The Pennsylvania Democrat sees the election going off the rails.

And John Fetterman went on Fox News, and you won’t believe what he said.

Fetterman defends Biden

Fetterman (D-PA) is one of the most prominent Democrats aggressively defending the idea of Biden remaining the candidate in the wake of the debate debacle.

Fox News Sunday host Shannon Bream pressed Fetterman on the divide in the Democrat Party that existed before the debate over Israel.

The left-wing of the party is telling Democrats to stay home on election day to protest Biden’s handling of the war in Gaza.

Fetterman is one of the few Democrats willing to support Israel and oppose the growing pro-Hamas caucus on the Left.

“There is a left wing of your party, more progressive, that differs with you on [Israel]. They are asking for totally different things, pointing the blame at different places. They’ve been very vocal. Are you worried about how that might impact President Biden’s ability to shore up the Democrats and win reelection knowing the other voices are calling? Some of them have a movement called Abandon Biden. They’ve supported him in the past and now they’re actively campaigning against him.” Bream asked Fetterman.

Fetterman expressed disbelief that Democrats would want to make Donald Trump President to punish Biden for not supporting Hamas.

“That whole Abandon Biden thing, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. If you are more inclined to vote for a Democrat or be a Democrat, if you are willing to walk away from Joe Biden you are by de facto helping Trump, and that’s really what it is. If that kind of movement has that kind of move and they went to play with that kind of fire they better earn that burn,” Fetterman stated.

“Now, especially because people have turned their backs on Joe Biden, it’s going to mean everyone is going to be all hands on the deck. And that continued to talk about this is a very stark choice. What kind of president do you want for the next four years?” Fetterman added.

Fetterman’s hypocrisy

But then Fetterman said – without a hint of irony – that he feared Donald Trump becoming President because he would weaponize the government to exact political retribution on his enemies.

“What do you want to talk about? The things these men are obsessed with: one is rebuilding America and taking us in a better direction or Donald Trump, who is obsessed with revenge. He has been very clear, he is here to be retribution and I do not believe the presidential office should never be weaponized against the people in this America who happened to disagree with you,” Fetterman concluded.

Donald Trump faced 91 felony counts because Joe Biden and a cabal of Democrat prosecutors decided that the only way Joe Biden could win the 2024 election was if they put Donald Trump in jail.

Joe Biden’s own Justice Department filed two of the four indictments against Trump and elected Democrats filed the other two.

That’s the dictionary definition of weaponization of the government.

Yet Fetterman happily looks the other way because it’s his candidate’s only chance at victory.

But if Fetterman is worried about the weaponization of the government, he should be cheering the recent Supreme Court ruling on Presidential immunity.

By ruling that the President has immunity for his official acts in office, the court took off the table the idea of prosecuting Joe Biden when he leaves office.
