Family Rushes To Bedside As Queen Elizabeth Kept Under Medical Supervision

Queen Elizabeth II is currently under medical supervision as she suffers with health issues, Buckingham Palace confirmed Thursday morning.

The Queen, now 96 years old, was officially crowned on June 2, 1953.

“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” a spokesperson from Buckingham Palace said. “The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

The monarch’s family, including the Prince of Wales, his wife Camilla, and the Duke of Cambridge, have reportedly rushed to be at her bedside.

Social media quickly blew up with well wishes for the queen from people across the globe.

British Prime Minister Liz Truss, who met with the queen yesterday, posted online, “The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime. My thoughts — and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom — are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.”

“Queen Elizabeth’s dedication to her country and people is extremely admirable,” political consultant Ryan Girdusky posted. “Especially in today’s society which doesn’t value sacrifice or service. I hope she recovers.”

Journalist Pádraig Belton posted an “flashback” photo of Queen Elizabeth and asserted, “God save her.”

“Just a flashback to when Queen Elizabeth became the first UK monarch in 100 years to visit Ireland, laid a wreath in the Garden of Remembrance, wore green, visited Croke Park, chatted with fishmongers, spoke Irish,” Belton said. “Her very best ever state visit, said Mary McAleese. God save her.”

“I am here in Edinburgh as reports are swirling about the health of Queen Elizabeth, who is at Balmoral Castle, 75 miles away,” Avi Mayer posted. “Members of the Royal Family are making their way to be with her.”

“I join the British people in praying for Her Majesty’s wellbeing at this time,” he said.
