The United States Mint is celebrating America 250 with a limited-edition tribute to its history with a new line of quarters for the semiquincentennial.

To celebrate, 250,000 Declaration of Independence quarters featuring a special “July 4th” privy mark will be produced. They will not feature a mint mark.

“These unique quarters will be placed randomly into circulation, offering Americans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to discover a piece of history in everyday transactions,” a Mint press release said.

These special July 4 quarters will be mixed in with other 2026 Declaration of Independence quarters.
