The White House unveiled new renderings for the Triumphal Arch in Washington, D.C., on Friday, showing a key phrase from the Pledge of Allegiance emblazoned on the structure.

The artwork depicts “ONE NATION UNDER GOD” inscribed on one side of the arch facing the National Mall and “LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL” etched on the opposite side, according to a document the Interior Department filed with the Commission of Fine Arts. The renderings were created by Harrison Design.

The planned 250-foot arch will be adorned with a winged Lady Liberty statue and two eagle sculptures on top and surrounded by four golden lion statues at the monument’s corners.

The project will be based at Memorial Circle, a traffic circle near Arlington National Cemetery between Virginia and D.C.

The monument appears similar in design to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France. The similarities have inspired a nickname for the arch, mockingly dubbed the “Arc de Trump.”

President Donald Trump proposed the project last fall to mark the 250th year of the nation’s founding.

“It is something that is so special,” he said about the Triumphal Arch. “It will be like the one in Paris, but to be honest with you, it blows it away.”

In late December, Trump teased that work on the project would begin within two months. As of April, construction has not started yet.

So far, the landmark has received legal opposition from military veterans and a historic preservationist. They argue the completed 250-foot-high landmark will obstruct key views of the nation’s capital from Arlington National Cemetery and disrupt the touring experience of nearby monuments.

WHERE TRUMP’S DC RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS STAND IN COURT

“You got to be kidding,” Trump said on Monday when he learned about the lawsuit. “I think it’s going very good, and our veterans are the ones that should like it.”

Trump’s plan for a lavish White House ballroom, where the East Wing once stood, has also been challenged in court. The administration is appealing a judge’s pause on that project.
