TMZ on Monday said it received a fourth note from a man claiming to have critical knowledge of Nancy Guthrie’s whereabouts.

TMZ is one of several media outlets that have received multiple notes currently being investigated by the FBI to determine whether they are real or sent by impostors looking to take advantage of the situation. In the latest note sent to TMZ, the man said they knew where Guthrie is located, adding that he “saw Nancy with them” five days ago, south of the border, and was told to “shut up.” The alleged note says Guthrie is in Mexico, but does not appear to offer further details, according to TMZ chief Harvey Levin.

After receiving the fourth note from the same man this week, Levin issued a personal video message to the person. He urged the man to send information about Guthrie, framing it as a way for the person to establish evidence that they can use to obtain the FBI’s $100,000 reward, should the elderly woman be found.

“I don’t know if you’re real or not, if you’re watching this, but if you are — and I have told the FBI that we’re going to do this — they know this: if you’re worried about getting this money, and you really do have this information, send it to us. You’re sending us these letters. Send it to us. We will forward it to the FBI, and that way there’s a record that we have that you supplied this information,” Levin said.

“If they find her, and they find the kidnapper, then at least there is evidence, because we have it that you’re the one who provided the information. So this is a way for you to get that money,” he added.

Levin noted that the man wrote in the letter that one of the reasons he’s worried about coming forward is that he has a criminal record, from a burglary he committed 10 years ago.

TMZ received its third email from the person last Friday, claiming to know the identity of Guthrie’s kidnapper, demanding the FBI’s reward in exchange for information, and warning that this would be the final contact. The person proposed depositing $50,000 in Bitcoin immediately into their account in exchange for “the name of the main individual along with his information for you to track,” according to the email.

That email was the third alleged ransom message TMZ had received since last Wednesday from the same person, identifiable by a consistent Bitcoin address included in each message, TMZ co-executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere told NewsNation. All three messages used different names and different fabricated email addresses submitted through TMZ’s anonymous tip system, according to the outlet.

The revelation came the same day President Donald Trump threatened in an interview with the New York Post to seek the death penalty for the kidnappers if Guthrie is killed.

Guthrie has been missing from her Arizona home in the Tucson area for over two weeks. The FBI is investigating the apparent kidnapping, but a decisive break in the case has so far largely eluded them. Recovered footage from Guthrie’s doorbell camera has been a bright spot, providing authorities with photos and a description of the primary suspect.

FBI DOUBLES REWARD IN SEARCH FOR NANCY GUTHRIE AS NEW SUSPECT DETAILS RELEASED

Investigators are now combing through Walmart records and surveillance footage for more clues, as they believe the suspect was wearing a backpack and clothes purchased from the store.

Authorities have described the suspect seen in the doorbell camera footage as a male with an average build, who is 5’9” to 5’10” tall. Time is of the essence in the search, since Guthrie is reliant on daily medication for survival.
