Brazilian authorities announced Sunday that two suspects have been arrested after police foiled a scheme to bomb Lady Gaga’s show in Rio de Janeiro over the weekend.

The suspect who planned the attack and a teenager were arrested in connection to the plot, police said.

The concert played out on Saturday without a problem. The city allowed people to attend the Gaga concert for free to spur the economy. Over two million Gaga fans, or “Little Monsters,” gathered for the concert on Saturday evening.

The suspects, or “fake monsters,” were recruiting “participants, including minors, to carry out coordinated attacks using improvised explosives and Molotov cocktails,” according to the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police.

The group’s leader was arrested on a charge of illegal possession of a firearm. The teenager in Rio de Janeiro was detained for allegedly storing child pornography.
