Former Vice President Mike Pence is reportedly planning on attending President-elect Donald Trump‘s inauguration, which is just two days away.

According to NBC News, Pence was set to attend before the event was moved indoors due to the frigid temperatures expected in Washington, D.C., on Monday. That decision is unchanged, the outlet said, citing a spokesperson for Pence.

Pence’s attendance would mark his second meeting with Trump this month after the pair met briefly at the funeral service for former President Jimmy Carter on Jan. 9. The two shared a handshake and exchange of words then, causing buzz on social media. Days later, Pence revealed what he said to the president-elect.

“He greeted me when he came down the aisle. I stood up, extended my hand. He shook my hand. I said, ‘Congratulations, Mr. President,’ and he said, ‘Thanks, Mike,’” Pence said.

That was the first meeting between the two since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in 2021, which severed their relationship.

Trump is currently headed to Washington from his residence in Palm Beach, Florida. His inaugural address will be delivered from inside the Capitol rotunda on Monday.
