Authorities in Florida say that multiple people are injured following a gas explosion that tore open a strip mall, damaging businesses.
Photographs and video obtained by various news outlets show extensive damage to The Fountains, a shopping center in Plantation, Fla., where a gas explosion reportedly occurred around noon. An LA Fitness location was among the businesses damaged in the explosion.
The city’s fire department tweeted that “multiple patients” were hurt by the blast, though no additional information on victims was immediately available.
