The Biden Administration is “the most anti-American presidency in our country’s history,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Sunday.
Speaking on “The Cats Roundtable” radio show on WABC 770AM hosted by John Catsimatidis, Gingrich said he was “appalled at the kind of hostility that we are getting” about the United States from President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Following the murder conviction of Derek Chauvin, Gingrich said Biden and Harris, “had an opportunity to come out and say, ‘look, the system works, here’s a policeman who’s now been convicted on all three counts. We can feel good about how America deals with these kinds of issues.’ Instead they came out and went on a rant about institutional racism. They could not have done a better job of tearing down America if they were Chinese communist propogandists.”
The former speaker slammed the Biden administration as “the most anti-American presidency in our country‘s history” and went on to say that what he finds amazing is that Biden and Harris are tearing down their country despite the opportunities they have been given and their experiences – Biden served two terms as vice president for the nation’s first Black president and Harris comes from a mixed African and Asian background who has been elected to some of the highest offices in the country.
But “instead of them celebrating the fact that this is proof that America is working…. they are both propagandists for this institutional racist lie…. and tearing down the country,” the former House speaker said
Gingrich emphasized that “if you want to look for institutional racism, look to China where they are currently accused of literally killing thousands [of ethnic minorities] … where they are destroying the Tibetan Buddhist culture. Where they are cracking down and imposing dictatorship in Hong Kong.”
Gingrich said he is very concerned because both Russia and China know that the Biden administration “is very very, weak. I’m afraid we may see some real adventures by the Russians and the Chinese to test us and see how far they can push the Biden administration… [which is ] just going to be taken to the cleaners. This is exactly what led to the rise of Trump in 2015 and 2016. It was the sense that you had an incompetent [administration] dealing with the real world. These folks live in a fantasy world.”
Gingrich also commented on the Democratic legislative agenda concerning election reform, the attempt to make the District of Columbia a state, and packing the Supreme Court, saying that, “all these [bills] are a desperate grab for power. All of it will end up not passing … But you have to give Nancy Pelosi credit. She runs a real machine. She has gotten that machine to vote against its own interests again and again and again.”
