Conservative podcaster Mark Levin blasted the Trump administration over criticism of Israel, saying, “Stop trashing, smearing, bullying, the little state of Israel.”
Levin argued that the attacks on Israel from the Trump administration were unfair and that the willingness to view the Iranian regime as a partner for diplomacy despite their history of violence and repression was dangerous.
“Stop cozying up to, and telling us that the enemy regime in Iran is now more rational, more moderate, and a regime that we can deal with,” Levin said Saturday on his Fox News Life, Liberty, & Levin show.
President Donald Trump criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that Netanyahu has “no f***ing judgment” after Israel launched a military strike on Beirut in response to Iran’s missile attacks by Hezbollah terrorists into southern Israel. Vice President JD Vance also blasted Israeli officials for criticizing Trump’s agreement with Iran, noting that Israel receives military support from the United States.
Levin argued that Iran’s actions prove they remain a significant threat, pointing to the regime’s treatment of its own people and hostility toward the United States and Israel. “Just a few months ago, they slaughtered 50,000 people. They’re still hanging young people today,” Levin said.
“If they had a nuclear missile today, they’d fire it into our country as sure as I’m alive,” he said.
Levin also noted that Israel has survived thousands of years of persecution and existential threats.
“If people think they can bully a little country, and really a people that have existed 4,000 years through the Babylonians and the Persians, through the Romans and the Third Reich, into surrendering their defense and their decision on how to secure their country, they’ve got another thing coming,” Levin said.
Levin argued that the unfair criticism of Israel is misguided and unjust.
“I hope it comes to an end sooner than later, it’s not right, it’s not just, and it’s not truthful,” Levin said.
