Fox Nation is releasing a new documentary drama series on George Washington this Monday, just in time for the Fourth of July.

The new series, GEORGE: Rise of a Revolutionary, will detail the story and history of the nation’s first president, with Kelsey Grammer guiding viewers through the historic events. The series will consist of four episodes, all of which will be released on July 1.

“Kelsey transports viewers back to the beginning of Washington’s story and masterfully showcases a different side of the Founding Father, spotlighting a young man who was fighting to make the ultimate name for himself in a truly captivating series,” Fox Nation President Lauren Petterson said.

Grammer, who hosted and served as executive producer expressed his own enthusiasm for partaking in his series, stating that he greatly enjoyed bringing Washington’s history to life.

“With George’s spirit in mind, I suggest we all embrace the fortitude and enduring courage it may take to remain a free and independent America!” Grammer said. “I love George Washington and hope to do him proud.”
