The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested the father of the suspect charged with murdering four people during a shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia.

The GBI on Thursday announced it had detained Colin Gray in connection to the shooting that shook Barrow County this week.

Gray’s 14-year-old son, Colt, who was a student at the school, is suspected of opening fire on his campus on Wednesday, leaving two fellow students and two teachers dead.

The GBI charged Colin Gray with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty to children, according to a statement from investigators. The charges stem from Colin Gray knowingly allowing his son to possess a weapon, according to GBI Director Chris Hosey.

Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith said the nine others injured in the shooting will make a full recovery.
