A gunman killed four people and injured over a dozen more, three critically, in a drive-by shooting in Chicago on Wednesday night.

According to preliminary information from police, a vehicle stopped by and fired into a crowd gathered inside and outside a nightclub at around 11 p.m. before speeding away. The dead include two men, ages 24 and 25, and two women, CBS News Chicago reported. The wounded consisted of 11 women and three men, aged 21 to 32 years old.

The crowd gathered outside the Artis Lounge nightclub for rapper Mello Buckzz’s party to celebrate the release of her new album, Hollyhood.

Buckzz, 24, revealed her boyfriend and two close friends were killed in the shooting, commemorating them both on her Instagram account.

“We was having so much fun in our private little life … couldn’t leave each other alone glued to my hip everyday its not a night we aint spend together,” she wrote over a video of the two dancing with a crying emoji. “[I’m] so f***ing angry u was woke i held yo hand until i couldnt u talked to me clearly ion get it boo im f***ed up.”

“D*** shorty my mfn dog … my brotherrrr u n vonte was my 2 ppl im so lost,” Buckzz said with sad emojis. “[I] cant believe i lost both yall in 1 night.”

Posts from Buckzz tagged two of the dead women, identified as her close friends. They were posting videos of the party from within the nightclub on their Instagram accounts until moments before their deaths, meaning at least three of the four killed were shot within the nightclub.

Videos posted on social media showed blood spattered on the sidewalk outside of the club as well, with first responders performing CPR on some of the victims. Over a dozen police cars and ambulances were at the scene.
