New Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez has alot of clout and that threatens the establishment of the Democratic party. As the party is being yanked left by the newly established congresswomen Rashida Tlaib (D) Michigan, Ilhan Omar (D) Minnesota, and Ocasio-Cortez (D) NY the rest of the party is being forced to creep left and alienating itself from the middle of the country. This is obvious to everyone with two operating braincells and unless the democrats can bring in millions of new voters the party is in trouble. Especially since some new polling data from real clear politics states that 47% of Hispanics polled approved of Trump.
At least one house Democrat has been has been privately urging members of the NY delegation to challenge Ocasio-Cortez. “What I have recommended to the New York delegation is that you find her a primary opponent and make her a one-term congressperson,” the Democratic lawmaker, who requested anonymity, told The Hill.
Apparently Ocasio-Cortez didn’t realize that the peoples seat was already spoken for in NYC. New York has not changed much since the days of Tamanny hall and Ocasio-Cortez is going to learn how politics is done in our biggest and most corrupt cities.
