Caitlyn Jenner, retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete and transgender activist, took a swipe at Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) after he bragged about how his “masculinity” intimidates the MAGA crowd.

On Wednesday, Jenner responded to Walz’s comments with a sharp jab on the X social media platform: “I am more ‘masculine’ than this [clown emoji] Gov Walz.”

Jenner, who came out as a transgender woman in 2015, shared a clip on X that highlighted Walz’s boastful remarks.

In an appearance on the This is Gavin Newsom podcast, the 60-year-old Democratic governor spoke about his masculinity, claiming that conservatives are particularly intimidated by it.

“I think I scare them a little bit, [which is] why they spend so much time on me,” he said, prompting the host, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), to laugh in response.

Walz continued, adding, “No, I’m serious because they know I can fix a truck. They know I’m not bulls****ing on this.”

On the campaign trail, he highlighted his hunting skills and his experience as a football coach. His Republican critics frequently called him the nickname “Tampon Tim” when poking fun at his shooting skills, awkward public appearances, and advocacy for public schools providing menstrual products, including pads and tampons, no matter the biological gender.

Walz further lamented the “baffling” criticism, adding, “It just baffled me how much time they spent trying to attack me that I was not masculine enough in their vision.”

Jenner’s jab comes amid speculation about who will run in the 2026 race for California governor.

Walz’s 2024 presidential running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris, has been mentioned as a possible candidate to replace Newsom, who is term-limited and unable to seek reelection.

When Jenner was asked in November about the possibility of running for governor and potentially facing off against Harris, the Olympic gold medalist offered a confident response.

“If I ran, and it was ultimately against Harris, I would destroy her,” Jenner stated.
