Even in a swampy South Florida prison, President Donald Trump had his predecessor on his mind.
While touring the “Alligator Alcatraz” facility in the Florida Everglades, Trump said that former President Joe Biden would’ve liked to see him detained there.
“Biden wanted me in here, OK?” Trump said while standing alongside Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. “It didn’t work out that way. But he wanted me in here, that son of a b****.”

Trump is apparently still fuming over the legal cases waged against him during his 2024 presidential campaign, which saw him take a mugshot in Atlanta and be convicted of 34 felonies in New York.
Biden spoke out in support of the New York ruling last summer, saying justice was served and should be respected.
“It’s reckless, it’s dangerous, and it’s irresponsible for anyone to say this was rigged just because they don’t like the verdict,” Biden said from the White House late last May. “Our justice system has endured for nearly 250 years, and it literally is the cornerstone of America.”
But the tables have turned, with Trump replacing Biden in the White House. However, it appears Trump still hasn’t gotten over what he sees as unfair treatment from his political nemesis.
‘Thank you for your attention to this matter’: Trump’s latest viral moment
Trump was touring the facility, which will house undocumented immigrants, as part of his controversial push to deport millions of people who are in the country illegally. Trump has blamed Biden’s border policies that let in millions of unlawful immigrants as the reason for his mass deportation plan.
The facility is surrounded by miles of swampland filled with pythons and alligators, hence its name.
