Biden Drops Troubling Comments About Pelosi Attack and Speech, Then Jen Psaki Makes It Worse

As we noted, Democrats and their fellow travelers have pounced right onto the Paul Pelosi attack, not concentrating on Paul Pelosi or his health, but trying to somehow attack Republicans who had nothing to do with it the event.

Now Joe Biden has made some troubling comments on the subject. Biden blamed questioning the 2020 election for an unwell man attacking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband. “This talk produces violence,” Biden claimed. So he called for the end to talk.

“The election was not real, it’s been stolen — All the, all the malarkey that’s being put out there, to undermine democracy. You can’t just apologize and say: the violence,” Biden told reporters in Wilmington, Delaware. “It affects people’s mentality, it affects how people think — particularly people who are not maybe as stable as other people. So the talk has to stop. That’s the problem. That’s the problem. You can’t just say you feel bad about the violence and condemn it. Condemn what produces the violence.”

So instead of blaming the criminal and the crime, or even the likely mental illness here, he’s blaming the thought and the speech, saying no one should ever question an election and that talk should be “stopped.” It’s the same error with how they blame the gun rather than the criminal. That’s a troubling anti-speech and thought reaction, to suppress anything other than the narrative. Not to mention Biden doesn’t know what the motivation or all the facts are yet, the police haven’t laid that out, so Biden is jumping without all the facts.

But if Biden wants to go there, as he looked at his own Democrats and their history of election denial that is at least two decades long? Where was his condemnation of that? Should we talk about all the questioning of the 2016 election, the false Russia collusion hoax, aided directly by the Clinton team? Should we talk about all the Democratic election deniers for 2016, including Joe Biden himself? Where is the condemnation of all of that and how much that hurt the country? Where’s the condemnation of all the violence against Trump supporters and GOP officials because of leftist rhetoric? Have they forgotten the attack on Rand Paul in 2020 by protesters? How about the rioting during Trump’s inauguration in 2017 and the rioting outside the White House in 2020? Democrats laughed that the Secret Service had to rush Trump to a bunker because they were concerned about his safety. Where was the condemnation of that “threat to democracy”?

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki took it even further than Biden. She falsely accused Trump of “directing” threats or harassment against Democratic officials. This is just shameful lying — there is no evidence of any such thing.

Shall we talk about the threat/harassment/violence that the Dems have directed against Trump and Trump supporters?

This was the reaction of Christine Pelosi, the daughter of Paul and Nancy Pelosi.

Let’s not forget Joe Biden’s demonizing of millions of MAGA Republicans, putting a target on their backs and calling them a “threat to democracy.” Shortly after Biden’s primetime speech, a teenager was run over and killed allegedly by a man who claimed that he thought the teenager was a “Republican extremist.” Will Biden be condemning himself for his talk?
