‘Beloved’ daredevils who scaled Empire State Building inching toward deal after proposal stunt: attorney

The daredevil couple who scaled New York City's Empire State Building for a viral proposal are now negotiating a plea deal with Manhattan prosecutors.

The daredevil couple who scaled New York City’s Empire State Building earlier this year is negotiating a possible plea deal with prosecutors, their lawyer confirmed to Fox News Digital.

In their latest Manhattan court appearance, Angelina Nikolau, 33, and Ivan Kuznetsov, 32, faced a judge Tuesday for a status conference. The couple, known for their stunts, scaled the landmark skyscraper in July to carry out a marriage proposal that went viral.

Initially, the couple was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, burglary and misdemeanor climbing of a structure. They were then released under court supervision.
